Living with the living

Oh, life. @ 11:20 pm

A lot of time has passed since the last time I posted an entry here, and I can tell.

I've probably the entire world to tell you about, but you should've known by now: I like to keep to myself.

I will tell you that college is neat. Even CCC! I have 56 credits now, and I only need 90-something before I can move on from there. To where, I don't know; I don't really have any direction.

But I'm HAPPY!

We got a kitten and Jody hasn't eaten it yet! That's good news.

Today- blah blah blah long, tests, not too fun until the end. That's okay though, A Days always turn out good enough for me.

Ahh, I need to get better at remembering to bring books home! Not even kidding, it's bad for me not to. Especially this time! Oh well I'll just BS my way through some crappy answer. That makes me want to play cards...not bs though, I suck at that game. Upstairs downstairs, yeah! That game is the best ever.

"I love all of you"...it's true, I do. Actually I just heard that in a Chilis song. I wonder if he means that he loves all of you..like everyone, or all of one person. Maybe I should listen to the song better.

Tomorrow...it's the season before the season...pre-season! Oh boy! Hey, season is a really weird word, it doesn't look like it would be the word for six months of basketball games.

I was watching the football game earlier, and they played the Chilis as background music. I made everyone in my house who was fighting about whether kansas city or baltimore was better shut up, just to make sure I was really hearing it. "Suck My Kiss", definitely, it was awesome.

Blazer season is a month away, my life will be complete again!

Oh man, last night was Nick's party...hey, I didn't give you your gift, by the way, oh well I'll get it to you later. Oh and now I can write on the card because I didn't have a pen before. Right on. Because a card with nothing written on it and money is the most impersonal gift ever.
Well, it was cool! Even though I knew just about 0 people. Oh yeah and I didn't feel too great for a while...not the best way to meet people, I'm sure I came across as the most boring person ever. Being shy sucks, too, it just adds to the boring image. And I was like having hearing problems, because Robbie? I think that's his name, would say something to me and I would consistently uh..not hear him. Anyway, I started feeling better at the end when I was sitting out on the deck, thanks, most likely, to the people who were sitting out there that were nice and highly amusing. And now I know some movies that I should see, oh boy!
I have to go get ready to wash cars, I'm so excited! Not really.

Boys are more likely than girls to kick a starburst laying in the middle of the hall. It was a very intensive study...many starbursts were lost. But oh boy, it was extremely entertaining. For a minute.
In other news: Mount St. Helens is going to blow up. Now you know... on Tuesday, because I've got money on it.
Oh if you have nothing better to do on Sunday at around 4:00, then come to the McDonald's parking lot by Jamba Juice and...Albertsons? over there, and give me money to wash your car. Well not me, Key Club, but I will wash your car. Don't really, but I don't do anything else for the club, and I'm on the board so I'll promote and such in my journal for the fun of it.
I want to be the person who decides what is important enough to put in the Spanish dictionary, so that's plan B if meteorology doesn't work out for me.
I heard the Chili Peppers on the radio this morning and it made me very happy.
I'm interesting...
Not really.
But football is, and I am going to the game at Milwaukie tomorrow, yes.

Current Music: "I Could Die For You"-Red Peppers, Hot Chili...you knew it.

I love how I get to color the continents different colors for a homework assignment. Funny that the test I had in this same class was harder than the tests in most other classes.
So today was one of those kind of long, not so great days...but then it was OK because it was good for someone else. Plus my dad picked us up in his old truck. Oh and Wednesday is always good for a new episode of That '70s Show. Chemistry is always good for a firework show. Physics was better because it was more like a math class...hey I need to finish my math assignment.
Uhh..Happy Birthday, Nick. I don't know how many times I need to say that, I'm done now.

Go team.
OH, speaking of teams, the Blazers signed Theo Ratliff for 4 more years. Yes! That's good stuff, I think. I know.

Mellowship Slinky in B Major @ 08:16 pm

I had a little 2 hour band camp today and I didn't forget how to play pep music. That's good news because the first football game is a week from Friday, and our band is pretty small this year it seems, so I need to play ok. OK so it doesn't really matter because you can't hear flutes in the loud atmosphere of a football game anyway, but still.

Oh! So before that I went to Wherehouse and sold a whole bunch of my CDs, well not a whole bunch, really, but i got $32.25 store credit and bought Blood Sugar Sex Magik (which, I fail at life for not already having it) and a dvd: Red Hot Chili Peppers Live at Slane Castle. yes! It is glorious, the CD is glorious ("Suck My Kiss" is an awesome song) oh yeah and "Naked in the Rain"..glorious. The Red Hot Chili Peppers blow my mind and melt my face off.
They didn't take 7 of my CDs, I could have gotten Mother's Milk. Oh man and i need to get the Greatest Hits/Videos thing, too.

I have band camp again tomorrow. 3:30-5:30, that's a good time to do something... I get home in time to watch Weakest Link.

so i was at my dad's for 4 days, no computer, and there were tons of journal entries that i missed that i read when i got home...and it took forever. um...i'm glad that you and michelle are back together spencer... cilla, have fun in sunriver!...and i think that ralph is a cool name for your hamster, jenny. jacob...crap i forgot what i was going to say. oh yeah, i'll miss you too, just in case i'm one of the ladies that you'll miss from milwaukie. and nick (and kyle?) i'd definitely like a cd, even though i have no idea about your band at all. much. but you have a band and that's awesome. maybe i'll even like it. anyway...
caitlin, stefanie and i went down to waterfront yesterday for the bite and it was really cool. we got free peanut butter and jelly and watched death cab, they were good. haha, stefanie got molested by an octopus. oh man and we saw john kerry riding on his bike. there were tons of good looking males there, i saw one guy that looked like a young colin firth...and at least two guys that reminded me of john frusciante. yes. we ran into diana, bridget, and sara, and diana let me try her quite gross sour drink..stuff. maybe it was worse because i had gum in my mouth. that was a lot of fun and i owe you $1.50, stefanie. thanks for the ice cream.
oh yeah and caitlin, we suck pretty bad at mario party. last place losers. ahh well.

so i talked to cilla on thursday and said that she could come over on friday..and that we were going to the beach for a surfing competition on saturday. to my surprise, she was up for it! so we decided to go to buffalo exchange on friday, and that we would ask kaylee to go along because she seemed really cool to me, and the more the merrier. so it turns out that she could come, too. we did some shopping and p-nash got another lovely jacket, which i am most jealous of. we waited for my mom to pick us up in a vintage furniture shop, and they had a coke thing that i need for my (small) collection there but it was a little spendy, plus theres no way it would fit in the trunk of my car. i definitely need to shop there when i get my own place.
then we were going to take kaylee home, but decided last minute that i should ask my mom if she could come with us to my house and to the beach. she said that she wanted to, but her mom wasnt home. so cilla and i came back to my house, had dinner while watching that '70s show, she helped me fold my clothes, then kaylee called and said that she could come..so we went back and got her. there was a really pretty rainbow on the way there...and some really freaky looking clouds on the way back. tornadoes. suck. and i wont ever quit worrying about them.
we get back here and played a whole bunch of card games, forever. i am in love with upstairs downstairs!!..i dont think ive ever played so many card games in one sitting, i didnt even know that there were so many. we also played fooseball, darts, roulette, listened to some good old rejects, alkaline trio, tbs, and some other stuff probably. kaylee beat me at fooseball! and to think, i thought i was the best. i was wrong. and i think she was the best at darts, too! yeah we stayed up until about 5 talking and it was a lot of fun even though my doors dont lock.
staying up until early in the morning was fun except that we had to get up early in the morning, too. so after maybe 4 hours of sleep we awake (kaylee to a mysterious pop can next to her sleeping bag...who knows where it came from?!). k-rad braided all of our hair, then we were off to the beach. in the car we tried to think of all the bands we could that started with each letter of the alphabet..yeah i dont think we did too great with that. kenny chesney! haha. but it took up some time. and when we passed beaverton we all took a second to think about jacob, took a picture to prove that we were thinking about him. guess what we listened to in the car!?...none other than the fabulous chili peppers!! yeehaw. we stopped at a little store and there was a sign that said "bathroom blue building"..the blue building was a port-a-pottie. haha! and who knew that they make watermelon tootsie pops!? i didnt. maybe im behind in the times. anyway so we get into tillamook and cilla says that she'd never been to the cheese factory. so we had to make a stop there, it wasnt too far out of the way. i wasnt feeling that great, so we didnt stay long. theres a lot of cheese there, never fails to amaze me.
get to the surfing competition...alive, despite doubts..i dont think we saw any surfing, but tons of surfers. and p-nash just so happened to hit the best looking male there with the frisbee. haha, playing frisbee was fun. we did other fun stuff, too: climbed up a hill, i didnt think that i'd make it but it wasnt so bad...body surfed! yes, thumbs up!! x 59 billion !!. it was that cool. i thought for sure that it would be extremely cold but it was fine. i got sun burnt...whats new? nothing. the beach was great, hanging out was great...thanks p-nash and k-rad for putting up with the peppers, me saying "sorry" too much, and the rock tumbler.
i dont want no scrub..

today i learned how to play the beginning part of "californication" on my guitar. it's really easy, and i thought that it might be.. so that made it easy to give it a try. that and the fact that its my favorite song. ive also got a part of Fru's awesome solo down. not a huge accomplishment, but i love how it actually sounds like it, when i get it right...1 time out of 10.

caitlin i got your message just now because i decided that i would check my messages..the phone was sitting right next to my MJ action figure here, screaming to be picked up. and though it may seem that you're neglected...i'm still planning on going to my dad's house soon and i'd love to have you over there, too. i'm bringing jody so that might be fun. you can help me keep her occupied. seems it should be the other way around. hm..and are we still going to see death cab with stefanie down at waterfront!? haha oh man that was the best message ever.
